The HarmonyOS 6 Rollout: All Eligible Devices and the China Beta Release Schedule
Huawei has officially launched the public beta for HarmonyOS 6.0, positioning it as an even smarter and safer evolution of its self-developed operating system. The new OS introduces a deep focus on artificial intelligence, headlined by an upgraded Celia AI assistant capable of real-person conversations and new AI-powered tools like photo object removal.
Performance and security have also been majorly refined, with features such as enhanced Star Connection for seamless multi-device collaboration and intelligent security that automatically blurs confidential data when the device detects a "peeking" observer. The rollout is beginning immediately, initially targeting an extensive list of flagship and high-end devices in Mainland China through staggered public and closed beta phases throughout late 2025.
